Casa Zaccaria, when restored, aims to provide 2 vocal and opera courses a year - one at Easter and another during the Summer.

Each course will be a week long and provide a comprehensive course of study for singers at a conservatoire or university level.

The fee will provide participants access to all course activities with accommodation provided in shared self-catering apartments.  A continental breakfast and lunch will also be included.  Participants are required to make their own arrangements for an evening meal.  This can be cooked in their apartment or take an opportunity to visit one of the local reasonably priced restaurants.

The courses will include intensive vocal coaching from tutors attached to the major UK conservatoires and opera companies, including Scottish Opera, Opera North and Welsh National Opera.  Language tuition and pronunciation will be provided by a native Italian.  There will be a series of drama workshops throughout the week with the opportunity for dramatic interpretation of vocal repertoire.  Ensemble coaching will be provided in the form of prepared short operatic scenes.  Flexibility and relaxation techniques will be offered throughout the week.
